Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

The pizza is good, the service not so much. Last time I ate there, the server disappeared after giving our food - guess we weren't interesting enough to check back in. But my worst experience was using them for catering. The later made me say no more! I am still fuming months later! I ordered enough pizza to feed 40 people With all but maybe 3 being 1 topping pizza plus salad and tea. You would think for that amount they would be ok to deliver, but no they want to use their catering menu for delivery. Well turns out even if I took out $25 for a delivery charge they charged me over $20 a pizza! Let's do the math -- the total bill was $388.43 - If you minus $25 delivery fee, $20 for paper goods, $45 for a salad, & $20 for tea the total is $27.84 PER A PIZZA! Talked about feeling like you've been raped because you have an expense account. I'm still responsible to manage my cost! Never again!

I remember this place being a lot better before I moved. The salad was straight out of a bag with imitation bacon bits added. The kitchen staff all had long hair with no hair nets on. And as you can imagine every teenager with long hair doing... They kept flipping their uncovered long hair over the food they were preparing. Very disappointing.

Love their salads, pizza and quesa pizza sandwiches. Owners are very friendly. Great atmosphere and love that it's not a chain restaurant.

Visited yesterday while vacationing on Lake Norfolk. We wanted pizza but not chain pizza. We were happy with the whole experience at House of Pizza. One other reviewer whined about the beer selection. It's fine for a pizza house in Arkansas...where I'm just glad to be getting a beer at all! The crust was perfect and our Hawaiian pizza was very tasty. Service was friendly...prices very reasonable. No complaints here!

Haven't been here in a very long time, so this review is somewhat tardy. The reason I haven't been here in a long time is because last time I was there for lunch it was absolutely a joke. A "lunch special" amounted to a very tiny amount of spaghetti with a small plate of salad (meaning iceberg lettuce from a bag) and one breadstick left something to be desired to satisfy my appetite. Money wasted.

Poor beer selection and canned ingredients. Would never come back. I did get a nice cold mug with my beer, which was the only plus.
